If you are looking to compare motorcycle coverages and rates then there is a few coverage options you should know about.
The least expensive option will always be to purchase basic liability, but there are some optional coverages that may peak your interest:
Carried Contents Coverage. This pays for your owned personal property (such as cell phones, hunting gear or camping gear) that is damaged, destroyed or stolen while using the vehicle.
Custom Parts and Equipment (accessory). Either a separate coverage or included when both Other Than Collision and Collision coverage are purchased, this covers items such as custom paint, plating or exhausts; sidecars, electronic equipment, saddlebags, handlebars, wheels, chrome accessories, and more.
OEM Parts Coverage. Often included in packages such as guaranteed replacement value, this simply replaces damage with original equipment manufacturer parts (OEM). Think Harley parts on Harley bikes, Honda parts on Honda Bikes.
MULTIPLE CARRIERS, MULTIPLE COVERAGE OPTIONS
Coverage for most motorcycles, including cruisers, sport bikes, touring bikes, dirt bikes, mopeds, scooters, ATVs – even custom motorcycles and motorcycles more than 25 years old.
